I feel I have a very deep connection with the movie. This is one of those movies where I was too stupid to realize awesomeness with my first watch, but slowly, the realization arrived.....
Moral- How to adjust to every situation, and make the most out of it. The values of friendship, of Andy Dufrense trying to cope up with the inmates of Shawshank prison and how he finally wins them over. How the walls of the Shawshank prison enclose them as a family, how they learn to care about each other. how to keep oneself constantly occupied with productive things even when it seems impossible. It teaches us how to pick ourselves us even when we are at our lowest.

first five minutes of movie Chris says that he saw his father for the first time when he was 28 and he wanted to give all the happiness to his son which he had missed. There's a scene in movie in which he had no place to stay and they spend the night in toilet of railway station. In such a difficult situation he tries to keep his son as and as satisfied as possible by telling his son that the machine he carries is time machine. This scene literally gave me goosebumps. There's a scene in which his son is playing basketball and Chris tells him these words which are really deep, simple and self-explanatory.
many instances in which Chris suffers set-backs . But the problems never bothered him. There is a scene in movie in which he is homeless. But he never losses hopes, the new place he gets to stay had no lights in the night but then also he repaired his machine and kept studying for his upcoming exam whole night standing just to get some light from the ventilator.
things which one must learn as early as possible in life. It is shown in the movie that Rubik's cube was a really tough toy to solve and some Mathematician has solved it 31 minutes. He was aware of the record of 31 minutes but he solves it in mere 17 minutes(I guess) so that he could get time to talk to one of the selector of interns.
“Hey. Don't ever let somebody tell you you can't do something. Not even me. All right? You got a dream. You gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want something

Writer: Sylvester StalloneStars: Sylvester Stallone, Talia Shire, Burt Young
A very tall and muscular guy isnt the perfect image for a dramatic actor. You expect a giant idiot. And this was a problem for Stallone. if he want to be a protagonist for a movie, he needed to make his own movie
ithe typical movie about de american dream: a loser can rise above his poor condictions (by changing his mindset) and achieved greatness.
But in this case is flawless product thanks to the writing of stallone. yes he wrote the screenplay. Not only that, maybe because of his unexperience in that time he made a revolutionary act in his move.
The fight scene is so meaningful because all the character development that was made in the first hour of the movie. A very honest history of loser who can rise above his situation thanks to opportunity he never dreamed to have.

That strengthens the focus on Leigh Ann's rescue actions, how she "saved" this poor aimless kid and gave him all the life skills he needed to succeed on and off the football field. It resonates with white suburban do-gooder audiences, but it's just not accurate.
In truth, Michael Oher was already a very good football player when the Tuohy family took him in. And he had a bold, confident personality that rubbed off on everyone and made him a natural leader. He was a motivated, focused kid who knew what he wanted, but came from an environment where no one really cared or provided support. He was NOT a shy, introverted pathetic case.
He just came from a terrible domestic environment and found stability with a nice rich family. The real story of Michael Oher is how he caught the luckiest of breaks and escaped the ghetto jungle and was able to leave all that soul crushing crap behind, and focus on academics and athletics in a completely different upper middle class environment. It's a study in how important environment is in the life of kids and teenagers, and how it can make a huge difference.

look away, because there is audio that was also very graphic. To put it simply but without getting into detail, the young man had only a small blade and you can't saw through bone with that, so he had to snap the bone all the way into two pieces, and that takes time and a grotesque effort of pure will power.
The depiction of this moment, and his emotional buildup to it -- he was terrified and panicked, and in excruciating pain, obviously -- was so emotional that people in the audience were openly weeping before the actual amputation even started.
Likewise, the sequence involves nerve endings and is graphic in the depiction of the physical and emotional trauma of severing them. This isn't a short sequence you can just close your eyes to for a few seconds, it lasts for several minutes (once the actual amputation begins) and is preceded by several different sequences of equally graphic and upsetting nature that lead up to the amputation. Not just the necessary separation of bone, but in fact days earlier when he first contemplates what he will eventually have to do and attempts to start.
I know many people will tell you it's not a big deal or not as bad as you've heard. I have a very strong stomach, I didn't get ill or anything watching the scene, and I don't want to overstate things -- BUT, it would be a big mistake not to go in prepared for a very graphic and intense film and series of scenes about the amputation. It is brutal and extremely realistic, the audio at times is almost as horrible as the visuals when he is crying and screaming as he does what he has to do, and it goes on longer than you think it will. It is enough that several showings had people passing out or becoming ill, and a great many more upset to the point of crying.
